Bio

The Beanstalks are a four-piece indie rock outfit from Wollongong, Australia. Known for their unique blend of folk-style storytelling with a classic pub rock sound, their vivid lyrics paint relatable pictures of rural Australian nostalgia, young love and late-20s ennui, over driving guitars and catchy hooks.


The band has become a staple of the Wollongong music scene, taking out the top spot at the UOW Battle of the Bands comp and scoring a coveted spot at Yours and Owls Festival.


They've sold out headline shows across the Illawarra and opened for the likes of The Buoys, Screamfeeder, Gooch Palms and more.


With new music on the horizon to be distributed through G.Y.R.O, The Beanstalks are continuing their momentum across the Australian indie landscape.
