Bio

Mia Langridge is a 20-year-old rising star on the Brighton music scene. Newly signed to Pool Valley Records, her unique songwriting style combines catchy top-line melodies with narrative-driven lyrics resulting in a warm and welcoming indie-folk pop sound. Having played a number of shows across Brighton in the last 18 months, she has gained a loyal following who admire her ability to tell stories through heartwarming and relatable lyrics layered over infectious indie-folk pop melodies.

A third-year songwriting student at BIMM Brighton, Mia has been writing and performing for a number of years, drawing inspiration from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Dolly Parton, Chappell Roan and CMAT. Despite many of her peers showing great interest in recording Mia’s tracks, she is determined to bring them to music fans herself and has recruited some of the best up-and-coming musicians in the area to form her band.

So far she has played all across Brighton at venues such as The Folklore Rooms, The Prince Albert, The Hope and Ruin, The Old Market, Dust, Patterns, Chalk and many more.

After a successful breakout 2025, which included the release of her first three singles “Every Single Lifetime”, “Let Me Be” and “Birthday Party” as well as a string of packed-out live shows, 2026 promises to be the year Mia makes her Big Bang.

Building on the momentum of earlier singles Let Me Be and Every Single Lifetime, Langridge once again leans into her gift for relatable songwriting. Birthday Party unpacks the breakdown of a lopsided friendship, pairing bright indie-pop and folk tones with a simmering undercurrent of frustration.
