東京発ロックバンド「Nape」（ネイプ）。 2024年5月にシングル「Sentiments」をリリースし、活動を開始。 WATARU（ボーカル、ドラムス）とISSEI（ギター）により掻き鳴らされる、時に激しく時にメロウな音楽は、彼ら自身がロックシーンの風雲児であることを証明している。 その音楽性は、ロック、パンク、ポップス、ヒップホップ、モータウンといった幅広いジャンルから影響を受けている。血湧き肉躍るギターソロや、逞しいドラムプレイが組み合わさった、唯一無二のサウンドが特徴だ。 作詞作曲はWATARUとISSEIの2人が担当。キャッチーなメロディに、巧みなリズムアレンジが組み合わさった楽曲は、ライブでオーディエンスを魅了する。 ドラマーでありながらメインボーカルも務めるWATARUの、迫力あるドラムサウンドと繊細で紳士的なボーカルのマリアージュは、バンドの大きな魅力となっている。またISSEIによる、ブルースやファンクの影響を受けた情熱的なギタープレイが存在感を放つ。 2025年4月、待望の1st EP「A Tumor Bombastic」をリリース。 新世代ロックシーンの寵児として注目を集める彼ら。今後のさらなる活躍から目が離せない。 Nape is a rock band hailing from Tokyo. In May 2024, they kicked off their journey with the release of their debut single, “Sentiments.” Their sound—at times explosive, at times mellow—is driven by the powerful collaboration of WATARU (vo. , dr.) and ISSEI (gt.), proving themselves to be true mavericks of the rock scene. Their musical style is influenced by a wide range of genres, including punk, hip-hop, and Motown. Their unique sound is characterized by a combination of pop and catchy melodies, blood-pumping guitar solos, and robust drum play. Wataru brings a powerful drum sound and a delicate, gentlemanly vocal style that has become a significant attraction for the band. Additionally, Issei adds a passionate guitar play, which radiates a strong presence. In April 2025, they released their long-awaited first EP, “A Tumor Bombastic.” As rising stars of a new generation of rock, all eyes are on Nape as they continue their climb.
