KAVARI

Emerging from the Scottish Highlands and now rooted in Glasgow’s electronic vanguard, KAVARI's practice is based in the industrial and unusual, making music and sounds which are both dread-inducing and cathartic at once. Somewhere in between club music, ambient and harsh noise, her sound palette has been deeply influential across the experimental electronic scene where it’s current state has seemed to become a reflection of the sounds she pioneered. She extends the lineage of British electronic innovation into a distinctly modern form. Aphex Twin has described her work as among the most brilliant and compelling electronic music of recent years. Recognised globally and central to the ongoing evolution of the UK and Scottish underground, KAVARI continues to advance a forward-thinking vision for electronic production and contemporary club culture.
