Bio

Good Terms are a Los Angeles alternative band built from friendships that began in childhood, at music camp and at Berklee, before the members found their way to the same city and committed to making the music they had been putting off. Their mix of emo, pop-punk, post-hardcore and indie pop turns anxiety, family estrangement, identity and the pressure to keep moving into songs that give fans a place to work through difficult moments together. That approach broke through with the 2024 album Burnout and songs including “Cough” and “Progress”; by early 2026, the band had played more than 100 shows, completed a sold-out support run with Hawthorne Heights and seen “Progress” surpass 1 million global streams in four months, alongside rotation from SiriusXM Faction Punk and idobi Radio. The message became deeply personal after vocalist Brian McShea and his fiancée lost their Altadena home in the January 2025 Eaton Fire, making the community that rallied around them and the perseverance at the center of “Progress” feel lived rather than abstract.

Now Good Terms are entering a new chapter with their July 2026 single “Hard Call,” a song about making necessary choices even when they hurt, as they launch the 2 Highway 2 Hell Yeah Brother Tour, return to Vans Warped Tour in Orlando and prepare for a new album expected later this year. For Marriott Bonvoy, Good Terms offer a timely story about leaving behind what no longer fits, finding belonging in unfamiliar places and discovering that the people who meet you along the way can make anywhere feel like home.
