Gift O.F.A (OF AFRICA)

Bio

Gift OFA — also known as OF AFRICA — is a rising force in the Afrobeats scene and now officially ranked within the Top 50 Afroswing artists in the world (Chartmetric, 2025). Hailing from Edo State, Nigeria, he blends the rich rhythms of his heritage with a contemporary Afro-fusion sound, captivating audiences worldwide from his base in South East London.

__

Beyond music, Gift is a dedicated father and an innovator in the clean energy sector. His artistry draws inspiration from legends like Fela Kuti, Tuface Idibia, and D’banj, as well as modern icons including Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Kizz Daniel.

A pivotal moment in his journey came when a trademark dispute with retail giant NEXT/LIPSY prompted him to rebrand from LipsyBaby to his birth name, Gift. Instead of slowing him down, the challenge fuelled his reinvention and solidified his artistic identity.

__

In 2024, Gift OFA released Ebun-Oluwa — a three-track body of work named after his birth name. The project earned recognition from Colors Studio, featured on a GQ South Africa page cover, and garnered praise from respected press outlets, with “Majo” emerging as a fan favourite.

__

On stage, OFA’s reputation as a powerhouse performer continues to grow. He has shared the spotlight with Afrobeats heavyweights such as Bella Shmurda at KOKO London, Chike, Spyro, Lil Kesh, and Iyanya in Bedford. He captivated 2,000 fans opening for Shallipopi at his sold-out Outernet London show, and in 2025, reached a career milestone performing as the opening act for Diamond Platnumz at the world-famous Royal Albert Hall.

__

With resilience, vision, and an unshakable commitment to his craft, Gift OFA proves that no obstacle is too great for those who dare to chase their dreams and embrace their God-given talents.
