Hailing from Vancouver Island, BC, Amarii is a 20 year old RnB “Sad Boy” turned catchy pop-punk artist with a heavy story to tell.
He masterfully blends nostalgic emo boyband-era production with smooth, emotional vocals and cynical, humorous yet relatable lyrics. The songs are designed to make you laugh, cry, and gang vocal at the same time.
Backed by a very excited and championing small hometown, he always stays true to his roots. Amarii’s compelling and unique story of growing up in Qualicum Beach within the foster care system is a moving one, and he tells it through his honest lyrics, wit, and infectious hooks. In February 2024, Amarii signed with Kolossal Records and his debut EP “Boy From Nowhere” released on October 24th. His lead single “FYH” sparked unique reaction among many even before its anticipated release.
With praise from artists like KYLE and Cameron Whitcomb, his content centres around telling his story cleverly, which is quickly converting viewers into listeners and fans. Amarii is steadily gaining attention from media outlets like Billboard Canada and CBC. Some notable performances included Red Mic at the Soho House in Toronto, multiple dates opening for Jamie Fine on her West Coast tour, Tyler Shaw, MaryJo Young and more.
Amarii is currently focusing on building his relationships with his fans through his social media channels and Laylo, (over 300 sign ups and growing). He is also planning small fan meet ups as well as meetups with foster care organizations in multiple Canadian cities. His next set of releases are planned for Q2 of 2026 and include notable producers and songwriters Kayla Diamond, Liz Rodrigues, Joel Stouffer, Alyssa Reid, and Dyse (Kid Laroi).
