"90 Miles: Havana Nights" Album Review
Over the years I have been covering David Lopez, I have always admired his ability to adapt and switch up his sound all the time. You can never put him in a box, and it always seems like he is improving his craft. I have to say, I think that 90 Miles: Havana Nights is his best release yet. He truly put it all together on this record in so many ways. 90 Miles: Havana Nights is a thematically super complete record, but it also sounds so diverse and eccentric. There are many different sounds on this project, but they all flow together so well.

David Lopez is a figure in the Milwaukee music scene with as much popularity and influence as anyone currently. He is a staple of Milwaukee music and has done so much for the great artists around the city over the last couple of years....Cafecito is a project that true Hip Hop lovers should absolutely love. This project is so succinct and consistent in its sound and style, while also showing diversity and eclecticism. Considering how wide-ranging the sound of the project gets, it is amazing how smoothly it flows and moves along.

Lyrically, as always David Lopez is in his bag on WITNESS 2. His lyrics are a testament to his hard work and dedication, and pretty much every one of these songs is motivating. Overall, WITNESS 2 is yet another really good project from David Lopez that once again proves he is one of the most riveting artists in Milwaukee right now, and I can not wait to see what he has coming down the pipe.
