Bio

Sandhouse first emerged last year from their south London base with a string of assured singles, all self-released. Anna and Caspar met back in 2018 at university, and they’ve been working across different musical projects ever since. With Sandhouse, they have found their sound, a mix of 60s psychedelia, alt-rock, trip-hop and electronic flourishes to create tightly woven tracks of sparkling originality. Their first tracks ‘Sick Of Your Face’, ‘Bite Me Back’ and ‘Circus’ picked up strong support on Spotify with a cover on Hot New Bands, and playlist inclusions on New Music Friday, Best New Indie and All New Rock amongst others. The band have also been played on BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing (Track Of The Week) and 6 Music.
