A musician and writer born and raised in LA, Wolfson makes music that blends the indie-folk-rock of her LA upbringing with allusions to literature and fine art (her latest record an ekphrastic response to Edward Hopper's "Soir Bleu”). Her 2024 album Imposing on a Hometown, produced in part by Gabe Wax (Zach Bryan, Soccer Mommy) and featuring contributions from Hand Habits, The Milk Carton Kids, and Harrison Whitford, landed on year-end lists at Cosmopolitan, The Line of Best Fit, and New Commute. In 2025 she received her MFA in creative writing from The New School, and her fiction has appeared in Oyez Review, Superstition Review, Open Ceilings, Flash Fiction Magazine, and Westwind.
Over the last decade she has toured the US and UK, opening for artists and heroes like Laura Veirs, Frances Quinlan, Kath Bloom, Fenne Lily, and Katy Kirby. Her upcoming record, Thrown - executive produced by Wolfson herself - arrives as her most honest and quietly disarming work yet.
