Bio

IAMNOTSHANE is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter with over 230 million global streams and more than 480 million views across his social media content. Known for his distinct voice, catchy melodies, offbeat storytelling, and playful dance moves, IAMNOTSHANE has carved out a unique lane in indie alt-pop while building a dedicated global fanbase through his honest songwriting and visually captivating videos.

His breakout single "MAYBE MY SOULMATE DIED" became a viral sensation, peaking at #6 on Spotify’s Global Viral Pop Chart and #1 on Apple Music’s Breaking Pop. The track appears on his sophomore album, CHASING THE WIND (2024), which followed his debut album ONE LESS YEAR ALIVE (2021), the fan-favorite EP IAMNOTSHANE (2020), and its Deluxe Edition released in 2024. In 2025, he embraced a California renaissance with the release of THE PLAYWRIGHT'S DEMISE EP.

IAMNOTSHANE is equally recognized for his cinematic, DIY music videos — including the self-directed “INSECURE” — which have collectively earned over 50 million YouTube views. He has headlined tours across the US and Europe, known for his theatrical and irreverent live performances that deeply connect with fans.

In late 2025, he leaned into his love for the season with “IT’S HALLOWEEN!”, a witty, retro-inspired love song and self-directed video that quickly became a growing seasonal favorite. In 2026, IAMNOTSHANE returns with “CALL ME BACK” — “the moment you realize the heart of someone you love is no longer yours. A raw, honest plea for them to stay a little longer.” Written and produced by iamnotshane and MyKey, the chill, indie stripped-back track blends piano and guitar into a heartfelt anthem that builds with quiet desperation.
