Bio

almost monday started in a San Diego surf shop, where three friends—Dawson Daugherty (vocals), Cole Clisby (guitar) and Luke Fabry (bass)—began shaping a sound that feels coastal without feeling cliché. Their early breakout “broken people” launched them into the spotlight earning a Sofi Tukker remix and alternative radio buzz. Tracks like “sun keeps on shining” and “can’t slow down” accelerated that momentum eventually landing a Billboard Alternative Airplay #1. Their music has gone on to soundtrack everything from ESPN to the Vans US Open. Their latest single “lost” continues to climb the alternative radio chart. Alongside milestones including a 2026 iHeart Music Awards nomination for Best New Alternative Artist.

Since then, almost monday has built its momentum onstage and on the road. The band has played major festivals including Lollapalooza, BottleRock, and Life is Beautiful, opened arenas for AJR, and toured the world with The Driver Era. Their 2024 debut album DIVE expanded their world further, followed by a sold-out headline tour across the U.S., UK and Europe. Their touring continues this year across New Zealand, Australia with The Band Camino plus headline shows in China. Back in the US, the band recently performed at L.A.’s Kia Forum as part of iHeartRadio’s influential music festival 98.7 ALTer EGO and is set to return to BottleRock later this year. With over 940 million streams, a late-night TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, collaborations including Jordana on “jupiter” and work with producers behind OneRepublic and The Killers, the band continues to blur the lines between alt-pop and indie rock with bold creative direction. almost monday is defining the sound of now that’s effortlessly and built for motion.
