Introducing: Carver Jones

Carver Jones is a 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Omaha, Nebraska whose music is rooted in freedom, movement, and real-life experience. After turning down a college basketball scholarship, Carver and his two best friends piled into a van with no destination beyond wanting to “see the country.” Over the next three years, they traveled across America performing everywhere from street corners to packed venues, experiences that would become the foundation of Carver’s songwriting and artistic identity.

Carver first introduced listeners to his world with his debut EP, CARV, in February 2024 before expanding his vision through the ambitious three-part AMERICAN DREAMERS EP series, beginning with Vol. 1 in Summer 2024 and continuing with Vol. 2 the following Spring. Blending raw storytelling, youthful nostalgia, and alternative-leaning indie pop sensibilities, Carver quickly built a growing fanbase drawn to both his music and the authenticity behind it.

Later in 2025, Carver joined 54 Ultra on their sold out U.S. Fall Tour, bringing his emotionally charged live show to audiences across the country. He closed out the year with the release of AMERICAN DREAMERS: Vol. 3 on November 28, followed by a sold out hometown Friends & Family performance at Reverb Lounge in December.

In early 2026, Carver released LIVE FROM MOHAWK, a live EP recorded during the Austin stop of the 54 Ultra tour, capturing the energy and intimacy that have become central to his live performances.

He recently released his 8 EP, including the standout singles WOMAN, MY LADY, BEST FRIEND and LAST CIGARETTE, continuing to cement himself as one of the most promising emerging voices in the indie/alternative space.

LUNE COLLECTIVE - SIGN OF THE TIMES REVIEW
In anticipation of his next EP project, 8, Jones released “SIGN OF THE TIMES,” a three-minute track featuring gospel-influenced harmonies in the repeated chorus and a classic Carver Jones guitar solo in the bridge. As an artist with influences from all over the place, Jones puts no pressure on himself to write in the same genre or follow a format. He writes freely, as himself—just like how his music sounds.

At the heart of Jones’ music lies the concept of world-building—creating something larger-than-life that still feels deeply personal. His debut body of work centers on the idea of chasing a dream, taking risks, and diving into the unknown. “The American dream isn’t really real, but your American dream is,” Jones explained. “There’s no set standard for what success or the American dream looks like. It’s whatever gets you out of bed in the morning and gives you life.”

Everyday Jams - Inside the World of 8
Carver Jones’ upcoming EP 8 belongs to the latter. Rather than chasing a specific sound or fitting neatly into a genre, the Nashville-based artist followed instinct wherever it led him. The result is a project that feels expansive, deeply personal, and impossible to reduce to a single definition.

Indie Boulevard - AMERICAN DREAMERS, Vol. 3 Review
The romance of abandoning stability for art continues to work as a narrative, although in the 2020s it already sounds with a noticeable tinge of nostalgia. Carver Jones fits into this tradition almost textbook-style: a $10,000 basketball scholarship rejected, tickets purchased, friends gathered, a route through American cities mapped out. Travel as a method of understanding musical geography, absorbing local scenes, experiments with style and technique—all of this was supposed to result in something significant. The result was the AMERICAN DREAMERS trilogy, bound by a single R&B core, receiving approval from the Omaha Arts & Entertainment Awards and concluding with a third volume of five tracks.
