Before Chariot introduced Gavin DeGraw to a wider audience, his career was built in Manhattan’s downtown clubs. The album delivered “I Don’t Want to Be,” “Chariot,” and “Follow Through,” followed later by songs like “In Love with a Girl” and “Not Over You.” His duet with Colbie Caillat, “We Both Know,” also earned a Grammy nomination.
DeGraw has continued to revisit his roots while moving his catalog forward. He re-recorded and expanded his debut for Chariot 20, while Face the River served as a tribute to his late parents. After losing his mother to pancreatic cancer, he also partnered with the Lustgarten Foundation to raise awareness for research.
Live performance has carried him through every chapter. His 2024 world tour traveled across the United States and 12 European countries, making extended stretches on the road a regular part of his schedule
