Meemah Jackson

Meemah Jackson (M.J) is a vibrant force in music—a dynamic singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose journey began at just 11 when she first wowed others with her powerful rendition of Brandy’s “Have You Ever.” Growing up in a home filled with music, with both parents leading church choirs, M.J. was destined to shine. Her raw talent took her to the final eight of Stardom Nigeria, a pivotal moment that launched her into the spotlight.

Influenced by artists like Alessia Cara and John Bellion, and inspired by the magic of musical films like High School Musical and Camp Rock, M.J. blends soulful melodies with heartfelt storytelling. In 2023, driven by the artistry of H.E.R., she picked up a semi-acoustic guitar, determined to elevate her sound with every chord she strums.

Her rise has been nothing short of meteoric. After winning the Dare2Dream competition, M.J. had the incredible opportunity to open for Nigerian superstar Adekunle Gold, marking a major milestone in her career. In 2023, she attended a transformative music camp that sparked the creation of her latest two-track EP. This EP, a raw and powerful exploration of love and heartbreak, captivates listeners with its emotional depth and authenticity.

With new music on the horizon and a deal with DSRPT Music, M.J. is set to take the industry by storm. Every note she sings and every song she writes reflects her journey—a thrilling story of passion, resilience, and the pursuit of musical dreams. Get ready, the world is about to experience M.J. like never before!
