Born in Spain and shaped by rhythm, Marko Leandro found music through transformation. After a life-changing motorcycle accident in 1999, he used his compensation money to buy his first mixer and turntables, unknowingly beginning a journey that would redefine his life. What started with breakbeat vinyls soon evolved into a deep passion for electronic music, and by 2002, house music had fully taken over his soul. Blending tech house, house, afro house, and melodic techno, Marko creates high-energy sets driven by groove, emotion, and human connection. Tribal percussion, hypnotic melodies, and flamenco-inspired textures, influenced by his upbringing as the son of a professional flamenco singer, give his sound a unique identity that bridges underground club culture with cinematic storytelling. Before fully dedicating himself to music, Marko built a successful filmmaking career in the United States, working for over five years at NBCUniversal / Telemundo in San Diego, earning three Emmy Awards for his creative work. In 2020, he shifted his full focus to music production, channeling decades of passion into his own sound. Since then, his tracks have climbed Beatport’s Top 100 charts, gained millions of streams, and received support from international DJs and respected labels worldwide. For Marko Leandro, music is more than sound, it’s proof that pain can become movement, and movement can become connection.
