Jaime Salmoreno is the musical project of a diocesan priest from Alcalá de Henares who has found in music a natural way to express life, faith, and the stories of those around him. Ordained a priest in 2014, he has been singing his whole life, turning his songs into a reflection of his questions, contradictions, experiences, and, above all, his relationship with God, which runs through his entire life. His music springs from honesty, without artifice or pretension, as a way to connect with the human and the spiritual.
This project emerged completely unexpectedly during a pilgrimage to Fátima, when an impromptu performance ended up going viral and caught the attention of 33 Producciones & Management, who didn’t hesitate to take a chance on him and develop his music professionally. Far from seeking the limelight, Jaime Salmoreno approached the proposal with prudence and discernment, consulting with his spiritual director and the bishop of the Diocese of Alcalá de Henares.
With a project set to run concurrently in Spanish and English, Jaime Salmoreno presents himself as a long-term prospect, having established himself as one of Spain’s finest voices in recent years.
Jaime Salmoreno was one of the composers of the anthem for the Pope’s visit, and he sang in front of him during the Madrid Vigil, where more than one million people were able to hear him perform live.
The artist’s first single, ‘All is yours now’, marks his debut in the music industry and is presented as a profound declaration of love from Jaime towards the greatest thing in his life—his love for God—but once released, it becomes a song that everyone can make their own, drawing from their own personal circumstances.
Following the release of this first single, Jaime Salmoreno continues to shape a musical project defined by authenticity, emotion, and spirituality with "You're the light"—a song that once again centers on an essential idea: the existence of a greatness that serves as a driving force in anyone's daily life.
