A band of brothers from Fairfield CT, Sons of Levin can trace their beginnings to when Connor Levinson (Lead Guitar) started a punk rock power trio named Burnt Toast in 5th grade. Soon after falling in love with rock music, Dylan Levinson (Lead Vocal) started jamming with his brother Connor and they eventually started a new four-piece group named Constant Change featuring long-time collaborator and friend Connor Frawley (Bass Guitar). As high school droned on, a new band, this time a five piece, began to take shape. Girls On Bikes began playing local shows around Connecticut and continued for four more years until the members sprinted off to college and put their rock days behind them...or so we thought. In 2018, now post-college, Dylan and Connor moved in together. In their Boston apartment, the two brothers began to write new material for the first time in 6 years. This was the birth of Sons Of Levin. Sons Of Levin began as a studio band, as the brothers' songs came to life on their self-titled EP. From 2019-2022, the band went through several different live lineups and attempted to navigate a live-music scene that was broken to pieces by the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2023, Sons Of Levin settled on their current 6-piece lineup. Inspired by bands such as The Band, Phish, Grateful Dead and other classic rock mainstays, Sons of Levin offers their sound as an homage to previous great acts while delivering their own take on the modern jam/rock scene.
