Before Honey Revenge existed, singer Devin Papadol learned how one unexpected live moment could change a path when Hayley Williams invited her onstage at a Paramore show in 2018, an experience Papadol later credited with making a career in music feel possible. The band took shape in Los Angeles in 2021 after 18-year-old guitarist Donny Lloyd moved from Georgia, messaged Papadol about the local scene and joined her previous project; when the other members moved on, the two recognized that their partnership was the band. Their songs bring pop-rock hooks together with pop-punk, R&B and metalcore, using tracks like “Airhead,” “Rerun” and “Hot Commodity” to work through self-doubt, unexpected change and the importance of creating spaces where fans can be fully themselves.
The 2023 debut Retrovision had approached 50 million worldwide streams by September 2024, setting up sold-out U.S. headline dates, a 2025 Vans Warped Tour main-stage appearance, a run with Spiritbox and a headlining return to idobi’s Summer School Tour in 2026. On September 18, 2026, Honey Revenge will release Loving and Losing, a more reflective sophomore album about love, loss and the parts of growth that cannot be controlled, before beginning a 24-date fall co-headline tour with Dead Poet Society and appearing at Vans Warped Tour Orlando. Marriott Bonvoy can meet this audience at the moment music becomes personal, when traveling to a show gives fans the freedom to try something new, find their people and return home feeling more like themselves.
