Silly Goose built their career by taking the show to people instead of waiting for people to find them. The Atlanta band began with vocalist Jackson Foster and drummer Alan Benikhis making rap-rock and nu-metal together in high school, then carrying that music into parking lots, fast-food restaurants and other unexpected spaces where a crowd could form. That instinct changed their path in 2022, when a flatbed performance outside Inkcarceration caught promoter Danny Wimmer’s attention and led to an official festival set, a developmental record deal and a booking at Louder Than Life. By 2025, a Silly Goose gas-station pop-up during Lollapalooza weekend could draw about 1,000 people with roughly 20 minutes’ notice, showing how far the community around the band had grown.
Their 2025 album Keys to the City, made with GRAMMY-winning producer Josh Wilbur, brought more depth to the party by exploring frustration, feeling underestimated and fighting to be valued, while the 2026 single “Set It Off” turns toward gratitude as the band heads into a fall North American tour featuring Louder Than Life, Aftershock and Vans Warped Tour Orlando. For Marriott Bonvoy, Silly Goose offer a lively story about what can happen when you stay open to the unexpected: an unfamiliar city, an overlooked corner or a spontaneous gathering can become the place where people feel most present and connected.
