Sitting on Saturn is a high-energy three-piece band comprised of vocalist/guitarist Hoyt Yeatman, bassist Kyle Hart, drummer Trevor Smith, and the occasional appearance of trumpet player Josh Horita. Blending indie rock, punk, and ska, the trio has crafted a unique sound that helped them quickly amass over 300,000 followers across social media and win over a dedicated live fan base. The band was invited to join the Jonas Brothers on their 2021 stadium tour across the US and Mexico. Shortly after, they hit the road with alt-rock legends 311, playing large clubs and ampitheaters.
They’ve also embarked on numerous North American tours of their own and shared the stage with artists like The Beach Boys, The Dirty Heads, Mustard Service, The Expendables, Jakob Nowell, and Surfer Girl, with numerous festival appearances. SOS released their third album, Looking Past Red Flags, featuring collaborations with Pierre Bouvier of Simple Plan, Rome Ramirez of Sublime with Rome, Fat Mike of NOFX, and members of MisterWives and Smallpools. Now, in 2026 the band is set to release new music all year long and is currently on the road playing with the Banana Ball organization.
