Project description

With a mix of symbolism, powerful metaphors, and honest portrayals of the past few years of my life, this project has become almost a therapeutic journey for me. When I rather suddenly lost my closest collaborators toward the end of 2024, it hit harder than I could ever have imagined. Instead of staying down, I did what I do best: I wrote.

“Si det som det er” and “Tilgi meg” are uncompromising, and at times brutal, depictions of what it feels like to be betrayed by someone you trusted completely. “Det var da” is the song you put on when you need to cry. “Neste stasjon” approaches the pain with irony, offering a lighter way to process heavy emotions. “To stopp unna Karl Johan” serves as a reminder that life goes on, and that there are still moments to enjoy even when everything feels difficult. The project ends with “Uten tittel” — a cathartic wave of a song that marks the end of the toughest year of my life so far.

This is an album for those who have experienced betrayal and injustice. For those who have lost someone. For those who have felt alone in something painful. You are allowed to cry, laugh, get angry, cry a little more — and hopefully be left with a sense of hope.Customize this section
