Born of musical lineage, Tamillia got an early peek into the stage, as she spent many a rehearsal and recording session with her mother having been a performer herself. Tamillia, though quiet and unsuspecting, found her way stage-side one evening, taking her mother's microphone at 8 years old, and the rest, as they say, is history!
Tamillia found herself singing around the island quite a lot over the next 3 years when Producers for the hit TV Show The Voice Kids feverishly sought for her to participate. Young, but brave and uninhibited, Tamillia now 11, jumped at the opportunity to perform. Entering the world renowned competition with millions of eyes on her, she cemented a memorable performance of Beyonce's "Halo" as her opening, capturing the attention of French superstar artist and The Voice judge, Matt Pokora; finishing her run all the way to the final show with him as chosen mentor. After returning home to her island of Saint Martin, Tamillia continued to performed across the region, from Curacao to Martinique, Guadeloupe to Anguilla, Saint Barths and back to Saint Martin/Sint Maarten; adding territories as far as Switzerland to her roster.
Tamillia was then brought to the attention of Los Angeles based music industry veteran Mr. Sundafu Kawah and partner Michelle Roach via a top SXM radio personality. They flew into Saint Martin for Tamillia's 18th birthday celebrations and upon seeing her perform live, flew her out to Los Angeles to sign and begin the process of artist development for her forthcoming music product release to the world. About to launch her first media series, Tamillia embarks on a venture and a purpose unlike most young singer/artists/producers her age. Focused and gifted, she is unrelenting in her pursuit for greatness and does not plan to disappoint!
