Dean Workman

Dean Workman is an Australian-born Canadian folk songwriter whose work is rooted in reflective, story-driven songs shaped by lived experience. His writing favours clarity and restraint, with an emphasis on songs that unfold naturally in listening-focused rooms. In 2025, he released a full-length 15-song album and continues to develop new material through live performance. Alongside his solo work, he has performed as a sideman on bass at festivals including Mariposa Folk Festival and Riverfest Elora. New music is planned for release in 2026, with a focus on a Single release supported by performing at Mariposa music festival and performing arts centre performances in Canada. Work has commenced on his second full length album tentative release date is for October 2026
