Martha Day

You’ve probably come across La Marti or Martina Magionami before: after traveling and sharing her music abroad she decided to create a new side project (Martha Day) with all songs in English and deeper country folk approach and influences. She released a 9 track album called Things in Life in 2026 aiming to spread her music internationally again and develop new collaborations. It got positive feedback online and also was aired on Dublin South 93.90 FM, Wallingford Radio 107.3 FM, Redifolk Folk Friday Radio Show and Sonic Scout Radio Digging For Gold show. She usually performs live in grassroots venues, big stages and also busking in the streets. Her first urge is to make art and share it with the world. Her most recent and remarkable performances were: Openstage/ Internet Festival (Pisa, 2025), Stadtklangs's Spotlight Sessions (Florence, 2025), Stradarte Busking Festival (Galliano nel Mugello – Florence, July 2025+2026), the San Carlo Buskers Festival (San Carlo-San Vincenzo – Livorno, April 2024), the Music for the Body Tour by Tezenis & Openstage on Via Calzaiuoli (Florence, 2024) and also Sofar Sounds Italy (Prato, June 2022 and June 2025). In August 2024 she performed in Ireland, especially in Dublin and Galway, for some solo acoustic opening acts, busking, open mic events and jam sessions (Grafton Street, St Stephen's Green, Fibber Magees, Sin É, Roisin Dubh and Ol'55 Pub). This last experience influenced the making of 'Things in Life' album a lot!
