Lana Lubany is a Palestinian/American artist at the forefront of a new generation of Arab voices, bridging the gap between the Middle East and the West through a sound entirely her own. Blending alternative pop, electronic production, and traditional Middle Eastern influences, she crafts a distinct sonic world rooted in themes of identity, belonging, and life as an “in-betweener.”
Lubany first gained global traction with her breakout single “The Snake,” which has amassed over 16 million streams and widespread viral success across TikTok and social media through its seamless blend of Arabic and English lyricism. Since then, she has been named one of The Guardian’s Artists to Watch, included in the NME 100, and featured in The Cover, while earning praise from the Recording Academy, Pitchfork, The FADER, NYLON, Notion, DIY, Clash, and Polyester Zine, where she was spotlighted by Jade Thirlwall.
On stage, Lubany has sold out her own European headline tour and supported artists including Saint Levant and The Last Dinner Party across Europe, while also opening for TUL8TE and Ty Dolla $ign in Los Angeles. She is also featured on ‘Lullaby,’ a charity single released in connection with Together for Palestine, bringing together a collective of international artists including Brian Eno, Celeste, Dan Smith (Bastille), Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Mabel, Neneh Cherry, and Nai Barghouti.
