From the four walls of a South-West London closet comes the intoxicating sound of singer-songwriter, producer & multi-instrumentalist Lo Teo. A true introvert, Lo Teo spends his time in reflection & experimentation, writing deeply personal confessions over Indie and Dream coded soundscapes. A deep sincerity underscores every song, which brings his emotional turmoil intimately to the surface, as though each listener is the only one who’ll hear it.
Lo Teo plays in contrasts and contradictions creating a sound that feels like controlled chaos. His soaring vocals cut across the despondent instrumentals like a glimmer of light amongst darkness; a sound seemingly much too expansive to have been recorded inside a tiny closet. Lush guitars and dreamy pads play on space and texture, transporting the listener into a trance-like state: think The 1975 meets King Krule meets Tame Impala. This is music for those with an ever-looming feeling that there’s something more out there.
His artistry is on full display in his performance and music videos, expanding on this hazy and dejected world that he’s created. His powerful live shows are another contradiction - powerfully immediate and yet somehow removed from time, like the world is narrowed just to the room he’s in. His performance videos feel like nostalgia for a moment that hasn’t yet happened, floating in timelessness. It’s impossible to have watched Lo Teo without longing for what hasn’t happened, as well as a return to what was.
Having spent the final months of 2025 working with producer Andrea Mastroiacovo (The 1975, Burna Boy, Olivia Dean), Lo Teo is prepared to release his debut album cravings. With songs such as the melodramatic winners and the down tempo slipping, Lo Teo shows his ability to blend catchy choruses with his poetic storytelling, into a style of song entirely his own. Cravings is set to be released in 2026, when he’s ready for these stories to see the light.
